Benguet is a province in the Cordillera Region that is known for coffees with sugary sweet and complex flavours, thanks to elevated farms and careful processing practices like those of Manang Martes. Her coffee reminds us of freshly made biko (sticky rice cake), muscovado sugar, but with the tangy zest of tangelo fruit (hybrid of tangerine and pomelo).
Manang Martes’ award winning coffee is a sure delight for breakfast, merienda, and in every coffee craving. Her coffee is very easy-going, sweet, and a great introduction to Philippine specialty coffee.
